- 1) xthebattlex is a one man project. Why? Is it do hard to find people who share the same ideas as you?
Well, it has different reasons. One for sure is that around here, and especially in my town, which is like 50000 citizen town, no one shares the same ideas as I do. I turned some friends into eating vegan, but they would still drink and smoke a hell a lot of weed. Secondly, all my friends in xstorm of justicex, the label who will release soon my small album, do not play an instrument. I have played in several bands throughout the years in my town, no hardcore bands though, and I was always searching for the sound I always liked. So the idea came up to make a one man project with the help of the computer. Everybody can turn his livingroom into a studio nowadays, so that's what I did. I can not play guitar, only snippets, but with the computer and some good program (cubase sx for the composition of the songs and fruity loop for the drum programming) everything turns out just fine. I use a shure 565sd microphone and a small preamp for everything. The result you will soon hear. The project started when my good friend jared from US asked me to be a part of the xbringbackprohibitionx- compilation. I thought I am just gonna do my own thing. Now, a song came out on a compilation for the war victims in Africa, done by hiro, some Japanese dude… the third reason is because I just like to work on my own, I can put my ideas and visions into the music.
- 2) how would you describe your music? What are you trying to tell us trough your songs?
My music is obviously influenced by bands like path of resistance, earth crisis, statement, vegan reich… its fast and angry hardcore with some moshparts and sing a longs.
My goal with the lyrics is to make the audience think about what the world is becoming: a fucked up place, where destruction and exploitation of all life happens on a daily, hourly basis. I write more about it further in that interview. I will post the lyrics for warriors heart here. It describes the best, what I stand for.

Explanation: everyday, the system we live in tries to manipulate our minds with consumerism, try to tell us how we have to live to be a good citizen in their eyes, how to dress, what to eat, what to buy. Society is attacked by big corporations, huge media groups and politicians who are just marionettes in a game of the high financial rulers of the world. They feed people with false beliefs to keep 'em in control. Big brother always watches. The world has become a hell, and most people can not deal with life on a daily basis, so they search satisfaction in drugs and alcohol, try to satisfy their senses in search for happiness. They dream of a life where everybody is a superstar and millionaire (like medias want us to believe), instead of grabbing life that's in arms reach around them. There has never been a bigger need for a veganstraightedge lifestyle than now. People are broken down, and all they have to hold on is a selfdestructive way, cuz they think they have nothing to loose. But evil is not only around us. It is first of all inside us, and that's where the struggle starts. Fight the evil within our minds. Veganstraightedge is not only a way to save animals, humans and the earth from exploitation, but a way to purify first of all ourselves. If I declare jihad, it is first of all a declaration of a holy war to against all evil within ourselves, to purify our minds and regain control over our lives: Self purification, spiritual progression, and edification. It means self education and liberation from the lies and the illusion of the system. only after this step we can take the fight further. We train physically to be on point when it will be time to fight against what we hate, and we answer to a higher power for spiritual gain. The ones with a true warriors heart is a strong bond of brotherhood. immortal souls, protected.

- 3) can you give some examples of the bands that inspire you the most?
Well, there are a few: earth crisis, path of resistance, day of suffering, vegan reich, statement, green rage, and all the other great veganstraightedge bands like xabsencex, birthright, point of no return, nueva etica new winds from Portugal, polands sunrise…
- 4) you described yourself as hardline. Can you tell us what it means? Who is hardline? What gives you the hardline ethic? What does it mean to you?
Hardline is a movement that was started in the early 90's by the singer of vegan reich. It was meant to take a more militant stance of vegan straight edge. " this is a movement, and a way of life that lives by one ethic – that all innocent life is sacred and must have the right to live out it's natural state of existence in peace, without interference. … hardliners shall live at one with the law of nature and the supreme personality of godhead, and not forsake them for the desire for pleasure – from deviant sexual acts and/ or abortion, to drug use of any kind and all other cases where ones harms all life around them under the pretext that they are just harming themselves. Along with this purity in everyday life, the true warrior must strive to liberate the rest of the world from its chains – saving life in some cases, and in others, dealing out justice to those guilty of destroying it" (from the hardline manifesto). the movement later disappeared, but I personally think it is still something to hold on and make it relive. So in my eyes, a hardliner is someone who stands for all these strong beliefs such as veganism, straight edge, a pro-life ethic and answering to a higher power, living by the laws of nature, and a state of mind where we are aware of all the lies being told. Self education and self progression on all levels, educating others and preaching to others to join the struggle. Not tolerating everything, but open our mouth and use our forces to fight against the system. the system which is the governments, medias, corporations, and mostly a materialistic driven, desire satisfying, compassionless, greedy society. I call myself hardline because of my militant beliefs. Beliefs that drive and lead me towards a holy new dawn, in wich I still believe in. change is possible. It starts inside you. Some will say that an ignorant stance will not change shit. And I say who the fuck is the ignorant, hm? Battles will always take place, cuz there will always be good and evil forces, it's an illusion if you believe there will be peace only by talking. The Bhagavad-Gita teaches us not to fear battle, cuz the ones pure in their hearts will achieve the goal.

- 5) do you think that there is any chance that people will realize that we are heading towards annihilation?
Time will tell. More and more people are no more satisfied with the situation nowadays, and not only in the hardcore scene. But the majority of the worlds society will always follow the sheep herds, and a small amount of united wolves will try to open their eyes. nothing can be changed by talking today. Either an earth commando will help people to open their eyes by huge direct actions, or the earth will strike back herself, like she did in the past years. You know, it had to be a huge tsunami back in 04 to make people aware that the whole region there was poor. And still. Western countries have forgotten already. Medias try to convince us that liberation fighters are terrorists, but they aren't, cuz they are fighting for a cause that's behind all the stories medias, governments and so called secret services try to make us believe. Humanity has to be extinct. Only then the earth can turn into a peaceful place again.
Honestly, maybe its an utopia to believe that people will ever realize… but I still believe. And I will believe. Always. And I try to change peoples views by talking to them and makin em aware of the true facts. Look, I am a highschool teacher, and even there I try to show to the kids what is really going on. They may not change by now, but in a few years maybe, they will remember something, and start to think it over… it's like that: once you tasted the nectar of truth, it won't go away…
- 6) Radicalism, no compromise – can these terms exist in a scene filled by people who only buy t-shirts?
No, these terms can not exist. Look, I do not call myself politically correct, but I stand for some reason on a side that makes me an outcast.
The big corporations have found their ways into subcultures. Nowadays you can walk into a shop, and walk out as a so called punk or hardcore kid, or even as a hip-hopper hahaha. But it's not the look that makes you a part of something, but the thoughts and beliefs in your mind, heart and most importantly soul. Hardcore once was a subculture movement, where education and information was one of the main topics. Info tables with books and magazines were available, d.i.y.-printed shirts and badges were there, and it was not about who had the fanciest shirt or the biggest record collection… what counted were ideals and beliefs, the hope for change. I see its all gone. The fight at last years fluff fest with my crew against most of the kids there gave me the proof: Radicalism is no more wished in hardcore. Takin it to the extreme is dangerous. Being militant makes us terrorists, makes us a gang, and it seems the so called "scenesters" do not like us at all. They wanna stay a subculture but walk with society. Fine. "I can't blame you for your utter weakness, but you can't blame me for my disgust".
- 7) how long have you been a vegan? Was this a well thought out decision or just an impulse? What about straightedge?
I have been a vegan for ten years now, I have not eaten meat in fourteen years, and I eat raw since three months now, which is by far the best decision I have ever taken. I became vegan because I thought it was the only right way to do, to not have blood on my hands anymore and supporting a machinery who tortures and kills millions of animals every year just to satisfy mans desire for a good taste in his mouth. Is it really worth a kill just for a taste? "Veganism is the essence of compassion and peaceful living, animals are not ours to abuse", earth crisis sing…

Straightedge to me is as important as veganism. Drugs are here to control people and "keep em inside the cage". A clear mind is the first step necessary in every thing we do.izs not just alcohol, cigarettes and common drugs, but also medicaments!
I, as well as all other Hardliners, am vehemently opposed to the use and purchase of all forms of chemical substances which are used to create pleasurable mental and physical effects that do not occur naturally in the body. We must all be educated as why substance abuse must be eliminated. Other's people's use, abuse, enabling, and selling is their business, but must be stopped. The primary reason not to use drugs is that a user is knowingly inflicting damage on his or her body by poisoning it. After all, that is what drugs are: Poison. That is why the alcohol burns your throat, and it takes hours of practice for a beginning smoker to be able to inhale without coughing. The body is fighting the poison and naturally trying to force it out. By purchasing drugs, buyers fund an industry which is based on death and murder. Users hasten their own demise, and avaricious drug dealers whom the users subsidize murder people directly because of drugs and in recently through drugs. The so called "drug lords and cartels within and out of the United States oppress and enslave the cultivators of drugs who then have no other option except death. This oppression is supported and funded by the purchase drugs. Of course the greatest pushers are not in fact drug dealers, but actually the alcohol and cigarette corporations which are supported by the most powerful drug lords of all - the government. Alcohol followed by cigarettes, has been responsible for deaths of millions of people, and as a cause of death the list of victims from these two industries by outweigh the victims of all other drugs combined In the younger generation alone an estimated 4,6 million people between the ages of 14 and 17 suffer negative consequences from alcohol consumption including injury, arrest, or involvement in an accident (nation-wide survey conducted by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Inc.).
Through advertising targeted at weak points of populations, alcohol companies recruit new victims such as teenagers who are weak or ignorant enough to succumb to their desire to experiment and experience artificial pleasure. Killing and replacement are what all of controlled substance industries (legal and illegal are based on, and they all have a common target: youth. We as the youth the ones who the pushers well as the industries target as potential victims v will make profit for them. Many of us as vegans and Hardliners encounter this practice of exploitation of the weak for profit in countless other situations. It is one of the evils that has been accepted by morally deteriorating humanity and also one of primary abuses we are fighting to eliminate.
Drug use affects the surrounding community negatively; both economically and socially. The billions of dollars spent for artificial stimulation could have been used to liberate animals or to feed the homeless. The drug user's addiction causes problems for the addict and friends, resulting in the use of even more drugs to escape their inevitable and interminable path of atrophy. The diminishing effect increased use until their death, unless addicts have enough strength to liberate themselves. With all of the resources the government has, it would be winning the so called "drug war" if there truly were one:' Instead, they make sure that certain drugs such as alcohol and cigarettes are supplied to all who are I ignorant enough to use them. They prevent rebellion and keep people impaired. In the 1960's there was actually a division of the FBI which made sure there was a continuous drug supply to subdue and control the radicalism of such revolutionaries as the "hippies", war protesters, and black freedom fighters. This is also a form of population ' control: supply people with a product, which makes them happy, but actually kills them. By using drugs, one is preventing personal liberation, animal liberation, and human liberation. Many drug users consider themselves to be political dissidents, when they are actually allowing the government to oppress them through their use of drugs. Chemical abuse diminished the energy of these putative dissidents and renders them stagnant and unproductive. These users could be improving society or themselves as opposed to submitting to their hedonistic desires, which result in nothing positive. That is not dissent, but complicity. Ironically, drug users are not dissidents, and pose no threat to any ideas or systems except those, which they support. Chemical abusers undermine their own beliefs and values of what is right and what needs to be changed. That is the reason it is not vegan to do drugs: you are corrupting your beliefs and sending a message of ignorance, which is the source of evil. Another reason the use of controlled substances isn't vegan is that drugs have been responsible for the deaths of countless numbers of humans and animals (through testing). You can't say "meat is murder" while you smoke a product which has been responsible for killing millions. That is pure hypocrisy. The time has come to take action against drugs. Now! Bringbackprohibition! Every bartender is a drugdealer!
- 8) Veganism is a diet for the whole planet – do you believe in it? or maybe it will be a necessity?
I totally agree. It is a solution for the whole planet, especially necessary in the western world. You know, I will never say that an Inuit on the north pole should stop to eat fish. Should he start to grow plants in the snow? Set up huge tents? Or import his food? That would be ridiculous…
It's very important the western world or industrialized nations start to eat vegan. Veganism has an impact on the whole planet. There are 100 reasons why you should eat vegan today. if I'd start to tell you all the facts here, this interview would be a book long… just think about this: it takes 16 kilos of soy to produce one kilo of meat. Rain forests are being killed for the wood and to plant soy. 90% of the worlds soy productions is fed to animals!! And everyday 40000 kids starve from hunger. Get the relation? Because greedy ass western meat eaters need to have their desire for a good taste satisfied, animals are killed, rain forrest killed, species extinct, kids murdered. Do not say you are not guilty by eating meat. And then there are all the animals in laboratories, killed for experiments or medication. Society is getting sicker every year, because of eating unnatural foods. Animals nowadays are fed with antibiotics to keep em clean from diseases, but these antibiotics get into your body if you eat meat, eggs and milk products. You get resistant on medication once you are really ill…

- 11)You are also a bass player in xdestroy babylonx. What can you say about this band? What do you have to say as a band, main values, which you want to transmit?
Xdestroy babylonx is s strongly dedicated veganstraightedge band. It features former members of xabsencex, a leading Italian hardline band back from the 90ties.. We want to show to the younger kids that there is a positive way out of misery, which is the river of the world, by being vegan, and choosing a drug free lifestyle. But that's not all. It is more than necessary that kids get aware of the necessity of such a lifestyle nowadays and educate themselves about the miseries and injustice in this world. From killing animals, to abortion, to child abuse, earth destruction, exploitation of the third world…
- 12.) who writes the lyrics and why did you choose to have such a radical tone in your music?
Xfabiox writes the lyrics in xdbx. And we choose that radical tone because its necessary nowadays. More than back in the 90's. a lot of ppl from back then sold out. Gave up veganism. Gave up straightedge. These fuckin traitors.
- 13) what is the biggest problem in contemporary world in your opinion? Exploiting animals, destruction of the earth? all of this is connected with the rest…
the biggest problem is humanity itself. Humanity, especially the western civilization, has degenerated into satan: they kill animals. They rape small children. Murder them. they satisfy their lust in drugs and prostitutes. They hate colored people. They fight for resources. Are greedy. They do not ask questions about life and its sense. Its an egocentric world. They let kids starve from hunger. Soon there will be wars for water. In the rush for more money, entire countries are exploited. water is polluted. Sky is blackened. Wars fought for territory. Money spent for useless things like the quest of other planets. Child warriors. Abortion. Violence at home, in families, mostly alcohol and drugs are the cause. The list is endless… humanity has to be extinct!
- 14) what plans do you have for the future? When can we expect a full abum?

Kids: educate yourself!!! Read books! Always ask questions. Never believe blindly what you are told by the medias.
